  1. D-Aspartic Acid

    Nowadays, a lot of people suffer from Vitamin D deficiency due to decreased exposure to the sun.  The active form of this vitamin acts as a steroid hormone in the body.   A study correlated the levels of Vitamin D with the levels of testosterone. Participants who spent more time under the sun, showed an increase in the levels of both substances.   Another study that lasted 1 year, half of the participants received low levels of Vitamin D daily while the other half did not. The results showed that the first group of participants experienced a 20% increase to their testosterone levels.

  3. Tribulus Terrestris 

    A traditional herb, Tribulus has shown some positive results in boosting testosterone levels.  Recent studies have been mostly performed using animals. The results showed an improvement in their testosterone levels.  A 90-day study in men suffering from dysfunction proved that daily consumption of Tribulus managed to increase their testosterone levels by 16%.   On the other hand, there was no effect of taking Tribulus in individuals with normal testosterone levels.

    A popular herb in traditional medicine, Fenugreek is considered a natural testosterone booster.   The way it works include a reduction in the enzymes that convert testosterone to estrogen.   An 8-week period study that included 30 participants, all of whom performed resistance training and half of whom received 500 mg of fenugreek every day, revealed an increase in the levels of testosterone in the group that received that herb.  Another study that included 60 healthy men tested the difference in the sexual men of those who received 600 mg of fenugreek daily compared to the placebo team.   The results showed that those who took the real herb experienced an improvement in their sexual life, they felt more strong and health and their well-being was overall improved considerably.

  5. Ginger 

    Ginger, a spicy ingredient that exists in most kitchens, has shown promising results in increasing testosterone levels.   In various studies that included rats, an improvement in their testosterone levels was observed.   In humans, when 75 infertile men were provided with an amount of ginger on a daily basis, a general increase in both their sperm volume and testosterone levels was recorded.   Eating ginger is safe and it provides the body with various other health benefits, as well.
